Whew, we made it and not a day too soon! She was so excited to wake up today a kindergartener. We asked her last night if she'd like her alarm set or mom/dad to wake her up and much to my surprise, she chose mom/dad. She shot right up when I opened her door, looked out the window and said, "Hey, I thought it was fall?!?!" I asked what she meant and she said, "But the sun is out." Guess she was anticipating drastically different weather in the "fall." Now if I'd just not got her a horrible hair cut last week...this was NOT how I was expecting it to turn out. Luckily, she doesn't seem to care and hair grows. I just hope it grows fast!
