Whoa!

Yes, hold on to your hats, Jo's back. I know, I've taken quite the hiatus. Somehow in the scheme of life, blogging just gets pushed to the bottom of the list. I've started one about 3 times only to delete it and turn the computer off. Some of the things that perhaps have distracted me a bit:
My Birthday
Our 11th Anniversary
Father's Day
1/2 Marathon

Family pictures are becoming quite the chore. Apparently Dakota was more excited to be in this than Kylie was.

And those were all within 3 days. Throw in there Fae being gone for a large part of June and you have an impending disaster in the Thompson house! Thank GOD for willing and able grandparents!  Grandma Rosie and Grandpa Jerry took Kylie in New Ulm for almost a week followed by Grandma Lyla visiting here for over a week. I would bet my mom is still on the hunt for fingerprints she has missed (ha!).

Somewhere in all this has been two work trips to Central MN, the floods (yes, I really do work for a living!), Ginger arriving, and just plain old summer fun (because yes, even Duluth has been blessed with summer weather this year!).

First smore of the season; she took a few bites then got ticked that she couldn't just bite the chocolate out and was done with it all.

 I don't mind buying flowers. Planting them? Blah. Luckily Grandma Lyla has quite the green thumb and a massive amount of patience with Kylie bug.

As Ginger has been great at showing, our summer has not been dull. But you probably won't hear from me again until she's back in Olympia!
