I had today off and we stayed busy. I didn't take many pictures so will supplement with some from the past couple of weeks. She busied herself with crafts while I did some cleaning and laundry. Then we headed to the lakewalk where I had grossly overestimated today's warmth (I'm already sick of hearing "cooler by the lake"....ugh), but she hung in there. We took the jogger with and I ran for a while then we played down on the rocks. Of note, we also turned in her preschool registration (finally made our decision!) which happens to be right along the lakewalk. She's finally enrolled and will begin in the fall going 3 mornings a week, with the rest of the time being with Fae or home with me. Then lunch, "nap" (she tricked me again), and swimming at the Y. Follow all that with playing outside, making dinner, and hide and seek. Needless to say, she went to bed early and easy! Mommy is tired too.
Kylie requested eating lunch on china today...couldn't think of a good reason not to! She also requested PB toast!
I treated her to breakfast last week before heading out of town for work. She ate all that food. And managed to make the waiter laugh with a man-sized burp when she was all done.
Trying to make Biscoff cookies with friend Audrey. We need to try another recipe; tasted nothing like being on Delta!
Kylie is a bit obsessive with babies...unfortunately she hasn't quite learned that babies who are a fraction of her age are not necessarily a fraction of her size!
Finally, a snowgirl. It was easy once the snow changed consistency just a bit!
