Summer (Part 1)
You all know I've been horrible at blogging...too busy enjoying the wonderful summer weather and doing damage control after the 2 year old tornado, known to many as Storm Kylie. So here is an attempt to catch up; I'll try to be brief with words!

Playing in the mini pool at home and enjoying a popsicle. Apparently I set my hopes to high for her ability to enjoy a popsicle...if you recall, last year she couldn't figure out you hold the stick and eat the cold part. Year #2 showed no improvement and she wasn't about to take instruction on how to eat it; she just got mad as her had was freezing and gave the rest to Dakota.
We recently converted Kylie's crib to a toddler bed. We quickly learned that if one of us isn't on hall patrol, she self destructs in less than 60 seconds as the picture below demonstrates. You name it, she's tried it: singing, kicking, sitting, taking clothes out of drawers, taking her own clothes off, turning the monitor off, tipping over the rocking chair, and pretty much ANYthing else just to stay awake and/or cause mischief. Her room is now down to just the dressers as anything else proves to be a major distraction. I have to give her credit; she has yet to leave her bedroom without being told so we have that going for us. And how can I not laugh when I walk in to her sleeping on top of a pile of clothes she pulled out?
