Our little Kylie turned 2 on the 14th...where did all the time go? I still can't believe the time has gone so fast and apparently her pediatrician couldn't either. We went for her checkup today and were pleased to learn Kylie has finally come out of "little peanut" status at a whopping 25.5 lbs (30% percentile) and 33" tall (35% percentile). Everything else looked good and nothing else to report! Barring any injury or illness, we won't be visiting again for a year.Grandma made an "Elbow" cake for her and last night we had a few friends over for cake and ice cream. Of course she had no idea what was going on (which is why we have little guilt about being gone on the actual day!).
A few weeks back while shopping for her gift, we kind of made an impulse buy and purchased a "jumpoline" despite having other items in mind. Just a few days after we bought that, she broke her crib because she jumps like such a wild child in there. Luckily, the crib was easily fixable, and now hopefully she can burn off some energy in a more appropriate way. We have a fairly spacious house...nothing like a huge hunk of plastic to shrink it really quickly!

ashlynn loves to jump in the crib! she's in a bed now, but she always asks to get in emery's crib (so she can jump). the jumpoline looks like fun!
