Here is Kylie in her not-so-appreciated costume (and very crooked hat). We went to the bank on Friday (sorry we missed you, Carol!!!) and she was pretty crabby about the costume until she realized people were giving her a ton of attention and candy. The same thing last night- she was trying to pull it off until more attention and candy came. Believe it or not, Jon was the one saying "enough candy" and I just kept letting her have more. He kept saying, "You're changing her diaper in the morning." It just so happens I was out on a run this morning when she took care of business:-) We ended up going to Huber's (the family I nannied for several years back) and although we intended to just stop by and then head to a Fall Festival, we hung out there for the evening. We took her to a few houses in their neighborhood and then she helped pass out their candy. It actually worked out perfect...she got a small dose of Halloween and we avoided a huge chaotic group of kids. Even us adults had some fun w/ our own treats! Here is Kylie earlier in the week when we carved pumpkins. She didn't care for more than about 5 seconds.

You know you're from MN when...you have to wear a pumpkin costume at least once in your life just for the padding against the cold. I'm sure it will be the first of many, being a Duluthian.
