Spring is Here (for real this time!)

What a wonderful week of weather we've had! Jon and I were in Texas for the first part of it, enjoying really warm sun, but we were happy to come back to real-time spring. We still have a ton of snow to get rid of, but seeing the extended forecast makes me smile and should melt the rest of it.

Kylie did very well while we were away...no surprise. She's pretty adaptable, especially when she gets to stay in her own home. Jon's mom came up and hung out with her for the days we were gone. Of course she ate and napped even better for grandma- same thing that happened when my mom was up! She makes all the grandparents think she's a complete angel.

She was ecstatic to see us on Wednesday night. She giggled, smiled, screamed, and had lots of hugs to give. She's been into hugging lately which is nice since she hasn't been a real cuddly one. She even pats my shoulder when I hold her- too cute.We've been out for lots of walks and playing in the bright, warm, sunny porch each day. Kylie seems to love being outside and of course the fresh air does us all good. It will be interesting once she gets a little more curious since the front yard is one huge hill. The back won't be dry for a while yet! Our neighbors Van and Myla just got a new totally pimpin' wagon that Kylie got to take a cruise in.
