Kylie's first 4th of July has come and gone. On Thursday I suddenly realized I didn't have anything festive to dress Kylie in, despite the oodles of dresses she already has. I ventured out to shop and was very disappointed with the lack of choices (I'm sure it had NOTHING to do with the fact that it was the 3rd of July and everything was picked over!). I ended up choosing an outfit that does not fit my taste (and I hope not Kylie's, either as the skirt has stinking ruffles on it) as it was really girlie....but patriotic nonetheless.
We spent the weekend hosting eight Harley dudes an

d mamas. Unfortunately, I

forgot to take a picture of the whole group of them. We even even got some relaxing in besides. What a gorgeous weekend we had and it was perfect from them to cruise around Duluth and up the North Shore. Kylie did quite well for her first fireworks display and actually watched them quite contently. We took the crew down to the lakefront to watch which they seemed to enjoy (besides it being a struggle for everybody to stay AWAKE until they started!).
Kylie now rolls over from back to tummy in addition to the other way. Her butt is even up in the air occasionally, hinting at some crawling in the not too distant future. I dread that day, although she can already scoot her wa

y around at least a little bit. Her feet have become her lat

est obsession as she can easily fit both of them up to her mouth to get a taste of those little piggies. She's slowly gaining weight and even has a little bit of meat on her thighs so that is great!
