Many Firsts

We've had an exciting few days. I left for the first time while Kylie and daddy held down the fort. Granted, I was only gone for about 40 minutes, but I was proud of myself (and Jon) for doing that so soon.

Kylie also had her first bath. She initially enjoyed the water, but got cold much too quickly. I think she'll take to bathtime quite well if we just make sure we keep the room warmer. This robe and towel were a gift and they're too cute to not post, even through she's screaming.
We also went on our first outing as a family yesterday (where else but Target???). People thought we were nuts because of the cold, but she was so snug in that carseat, she was actually toasty when we got home. We made sure the car was warm and Jon dropped us at the door so she wasn't ever really outside. She did fine and slept the entire time.






Tomorrow, Jon goes back to work, but Grandma Lyla is on her way up in the afternoon. The extra help will be great for the next several days. We've had awesome friends who have showed up with meals every night. I figure between helpful friends, grandparents, church family, and meals I froze while I was pregnant, we won't have to cook for about 3 weeks!

As an added bonus, here are some more pictures. Of course I think she's the greatest thing ever and every picture is cute. As Jon would say, "I think we'll keep her."
