Cupid Baby!

SO SORRY to all of you who have been waiting for a post. The last day and a half have been good, but have gone quickly and no, my newborn does NOT sleep as much as I thought she would (hence the "late" post).

Kylie Rose was born February 14th @ 9:03 am. She weighed 8lbs 14oz. and is 21" long. She has huge hands, thighs, and arms....pretty much, she doesn't look that new! The labor went just as good as the entire pregnancy. Of course it was painful and there were times I didn't think I could do it (thank God for positive reinforcement from the rest of the crew), but did well overall. And for those of you skeptics on the home/water birth...we would do it again the exact same way. More details on that later.

Anyway, I'll let the pictures speak for themselves for now and add as I have some time. These aren't the greatest pictures, but it's something to hold you all over. Grandma and grandpa are already on their way up so I'll try to spend some time on the computer while they get to know their little Valentine princess.

She already looks so different! Your post wasn't late, I am surprised you have gotten to it so quickly. So- not as much sleep as you would have thought- crazy! I am dying to call and chat with you, but don't want to bug you. You did such a great job in labor! Thanks for asking me to be there!

P.S. I just knew she would be a cupid baby. What a special birthday for her!
