Everybody Loves Jo

We start our story on a normal evening. All is calm (ish) at the Thompson home. The football game is on, the Packers are losing (yes!), the Seahawks are winning elsewhere. All is well.

And then, it starts. Mother lays on the couch. For those of you unaware of the process, this is the signal to "attack." Kylie immediately runs over to lay on her (in the most comfortable position for all). Which signals Sophie to join the huddle, along with baby.

This is an unacceptable option for the Child who either wants Mother all to herself, or just to spite her little sister (Hint: It's option two). So she rotates to the most advantageous position for button pushing.

A fight ensues. A fight is broken up. No one gets to suffocate Mother. One child pouts, the other child want to jump.

The wolf stalks her prey.

That one guy (almost irrelevant with Mother in the room) attempts to intervene.

A compromise is struck (forced) of turn taking. It goes over very well.

The cycle continues. Every. Day.
