Happenings

Kylie finally lost another tooth. It's been loose for quite a time and it even started being a distraction in class. It literally fell out on its own. 

Her note to the tooth fairy included asking for $5, saying how much she loves fairies, and asking the fairies name (Toothy). Toothy also colors a cup of water each time she visits. 

A few days later, Kylie had strep again. I'm sure it had NOTHING to do with her sticking her fingers in her mouth nonstop to wiggle her tooth. 

We had rescheduled family pix twice and we finally had them on Sunday. This is a perfect indication of how that went. Sophie took a 10 minute nap and by 5 (picture time) was a ticking time bomb. Suffice it to say the bomb exploded. She hates those darn boots! Or as she calls them, booties. 

Kylie, however, has proved quite photogenic so far. No fake smiles yet!

I've been wanting to make this Apple Fritter Cake, but of course we don't need an entire cake. Monday brought a day of meetings and a colleagues birthday- perfect reason to bake! It was delicious and quite well received.

Finally, we've been milking the last of this great fall weather. It's nice to have the girls outside after school/work.
