Science Night

Tonight we had science night at school. Each class in grades 1-5 had a theme; first grades theme was solid, liquid, and mass. Here is Kylie explaining how to fill a balloon with air using vinegar and baking soda in a bottle. 

And Sophie's first go at soda (Orange or root beer floats....solid and liquid!). Luckily the soda was a bit flat; she downed it!

Last weeks Friday folder had an interesting find. I assumed what her drawing meant then confirmed by asking. That's me driving her to Cub which is where the minute clinic is. She wishes for health. Yup, that about sums up our winter!
