Good Ol' Days

We constantly have a shoe battle at the back door and the bottom line is, we all have too many. It's getting more difficult to not have just a huge pile of shoes sitting there. The conversation between Kylie and I went something like this:

Me: Did you know that your grandparents only had one pair of shoes? One pair for everything. MAYBE two, an everyday pair and then a church pair. But I can almost guarantee not more than that.
K: Yeah, well, that was the olden days. We live in the newer days now.
(Jon and I both trying to stifle laughter and stay matter-of-fact). It gets better....
K: They didn't have color in the olden days, either.
Me: Well actually, there has always been color. It's the camera that didn't have color.
(Pretty sure that stems from her watching I Love Lucy...in black/white, of course!)

I tried French baraids for the first time. Plenty of room for improvement!
