O Christmas Tree


We may have a contender for our ugliest tree yet. Multiple factors contributed to the Charlie Brown tree, not the least of which being the tree farm we use every year is not replanting. Sad, but grandma and grandpa are getting up in years and the kids aren't interested in keeping things going. So slim pickings to begin with. Add to that a 6 year old with a bad cough and even worse attitude. Finally, a toddler who despises being bundled up for winter and voices such every time. 


That all equated to a frustrated mom and dad who simply settled on the next tree they stumbled upon. As Jon said, "We should have known we picked a doozy when the 15 year old with the chainsaw says 'Well, they will all be happy to see this one was finally taken.'"

Touché. It must be ugly...even said toddler has zero interest in getting her hands on it!
