I'm waaaay behind on blogging. I should start with a huge THANK YOU to Grandma Rosie and Grandpa Jerry for coming to stay while I was in Denver for work. People ask, "So Jon needs help while you're gone?" No, he definitely doesn't. He does great with the girls, it's just not ideal. It means very long days for the girls with daycare and after school care. We just don't like having to do that and with me being part time and flexible, we can typically avoid it.

Anyway. I came home to happy kiddos and a cleaner house. Mom got to things I never do: the air returns/ducts (word has it she found a ton of pencils and crayons down one of them. Shocker.), the stove plates, and light fixtures. She was working on this stuff before I even left for the airport! And my cookie exchange cookies were baked! Twix cookies.

Skype is. Great way to stay connected on the go. We have found the best time is if the girls are eating (aka sitting and not distracted.
