Ok. Usually my theme for our tree is "go big or go home." I think Jon about fell over when I said let's do "small" this year. At the risk of sounding "bahumby", here's why. It's no secret we are all "short" a week due to a late thanksgiving. Combine that with not even being here for Christmas this year and I realized that likely the only people in our house over the next month are my cookie exchange peeps. So while I would never entertain no decorating at this stage of life, I will definitely keep it more simple this time around. Who knows, maybe next year we will have a Clark Griswald tree!
