Grown Ups

How can I convince Kylie that being an adult is not all it's cracked up to be and that she shouldn't rush it!? It's very humbling to know she watches our every move. We constantly find her emulating us by speech and action. Scary!

We were heading out for a hike in Chester and of course I was wearing Sophie so she had wear her baby. I scrambled to rig something up, but it seemed to work.

Then she decided it was time to help Jon mow the grass. She even came and wanted to put on her "work shoes" (tennis shoes) to do so!

Yesterday we were going through her clothes to see what was still need to buy for school (yes I realize school starts on Tuesday!)... Getting her to try stuff on was like asking her to sacrifice a limb. Anyway, she said she wants tank stops like mom's. "You know, the kind with snaps?" Ah, no dear, those are for breast feeding. You won't need those for a LONG time....
