Sophie Marie Thompson
6lb. 8oz., 20.5"
While cautiously optimistic at this point, Sophie is appearing to be extremely laid back and easy going. She's just plain relaxed, the only thing really making her mad is getting cold and/or naked. She sleeps a lot, eats well (after being woken), and is content to just sit and stare during her awake times. Yesterday I went to wake her and found her in a big puddle of puke and a diaper full of poop; yet she just laid there contently. She loves to cuddle yet has no issues with being laid down awake to fall asleep on her own.
Big sister is doing pretty well, but Jon is off all week and has taken it upon himself to schedule things for them to do every day. She calls it her "big sister time" which she really looks forward to each day. It's been nice having them gone quite a bit as I got hit with a full-blown head cold on Tuesday. So while my body is recovering well from labor and delivery, contending with that has been pretty energy sucking. Luckily, Jon is also very domestic when he needs to be and I haven't had to do anything but take care of Sophie and me.
This was after my water broke and Kylie was on her way to a sleepover at Fae's...last picture as a family of three!
