Sneak Peek

We're making progress in K's room and she's sleeping in there for the first time tonight! There is still plenty to do in all the bedrooms (mainly reconfiguring  all the mismatched dressers and storage space), but they're all functional again. Quite a difference from what Kylie slept in for two nights as we had to cram three bedrooms into one room. Anybody who has been here knows that although our house isn't necessarily small, it's all living space, definitely not bedroom space!

Now imagine me checking on her during rest/naptime yesterday and picture where she would be in this picture....NOT in the toddler bed you can't see to the right! She was queen of the mattress mountain, of course!

And her final stop. Notice one major discrepancy? No window treatments. We fixed that for now with a blanket. 

And yes, we were reluctant to indulge a 5 year old with a double bed. BUT this will still serve as the guest room when needed so she will get the boot and we won't have to put guests on an air mattress. I'll try to post more complete pictures as we make progress with all the details!
