I took Kylie to her 3 year checkup yesterday and there were no surprises. I was reminded of how much I like her pediatrician, but am thankful we've never had to see her for anything other than scheduled well checks. We've been very blessed with a healthy child, save several colds a year.

I bordered on getting teary as this appointment solidified she is growing up. They took her temperature under her tongue (first ever), took her BP (again, first ever), and did a vision check by playing a little game. She's at 50th percentile for height and 30th for weight (29#). The MD did remind me that we need to schedule preschool screening and a first dental appt which we'll get around to in the next few months.

Otherwise, we just took the week to get settled back into our routine and life is pretty much back to normal. We did a new floor puzzle she got for her birthday from Grandma Lyla and Grandpa Peter and she loved it!
