Ginger left this morning, leaving us a family of 3 again. Of course it will be good to get back into routine and "normalcy", whatever that is, but it was wonderful having her around. She helped a TON with Kylie and I believe now has a new appreciation for kids Kylie's age. Or maybe just Kylie. She even offered to babysit on New Year's Eve and who can pass up a free babysitter ANY night of the year? Jon scored tickets to the Cirque de la Syphonie so we went to that and then headed out to our friends' place to ring in the New Year. Fun had by all!

It got just warm enough yesterday to warrant a quick romp in the snow until our faces burned from the raw wind!

As for other news, I'd say we're batting about 50% on the nighttime potty training, but that includes a 10:30pm and 3am wakeup call from mommy. Our hopes are that soon enough we'll be able to eliminate the 3am and just take her before we go to bed. It's all trial and error as we weren't sure how much needed to be her being ready to train versus being given the opportunity to do it. We'll see. The upside is she only has pee accidents which still creates laundry, but just isn't nearly as gross or labor intensive! At least we know it will happen by 2012; does that make it a New Year's Resolution?

Looks like fun, I love the pics. I had heard from a couple others that the cirque was great, that's nice you got to attend it too!
