Never a Dull Moment

-A recent trip to Younker's found us taking several trips up and down the "essen-gator" (escalator). The distraction was welcome on a cold and blustery day and she was great entertainment for the elderly shoppers that day.

- While out and about we saw a lady riding her scooter/electric cart. I, of course, think of the days of my dad cruising around. That was a fleeing thought as Kylie yells out, "Mom, a motorcycle!"

- Partial relief came with the passing of both Jon's birthday as well as his dad's...now hopefully there will be less confusion about Jesus' birthday. Too many birthdays to keep straight in her little brain. She's supposed to be singing Happy Birthday to Jesus with her class at church tomorrow- we'll see how that goes.

- She will now randomly dole out hugs and kisses and say "I wuv you." Melts. My. Heart. She is definitely turning into quite the young lady.

- I realized we need to call it working out rather than going to the gym.... the other morning she thought I came home from visiting "Grandpa Jim."

- Every morning she stands right by my side and helps me put on my "nake-ups." I gave her an extra "nake-up" sponge to play with and you'd think I gave her gold!

- Upon going in to tuck her in the other night, this is how I found her. She may stay in bed, but there is now saying how she'll occupy herself while there:

She certainly keeps us hopping...and laughing.
