Firsts

We took Kylie for her first haircut this week. It went alright (you can tell she looks thrilled), although I was hoping it would shape up her hair a bit better than it did. I refuse to have bangs cut since I can guarantee we'll end up growing them back out again soon. At least most of her mullet is gone!
Just as with most of Minnesota, today was our first snow. It's fun because Kylie is starting to "get" things...and understood we are waiting for snow. She woke up from nap today and said "Oooohhhh, it's snowing. I want to go outside." I knew it wouldn't be much fun since it's so darn wet, but of course, we got bundled up and went out. She did not appreciate the wind or how wet she was getting so a short walk satisfied her desire to be in the snow! I promised her it will get more fun. She did enjoy watching her footprints appear and started tapping around for a bit.

And when she's done, she's done... as you can hear in her voice inflection!


And how better to warm up than with some coffee and a brownie? She gave back the brownie, but finished both her coffee and mine. Weird kid.
