Fall Fun

We've been busy and I realized it's been a month since the last post. It's a wonder I started getting harassing emails about a Kylie update. Oops.
Kylie has continued to baffle us, frustrate us, and delight us (and sometimes all within a couple of minutes). She is either going through a phase or is actually turning into a somewhat sensitive little girly girl. I say this as she has been slightly more cuddly, is showing more shyness in new situations, and just prefers "girly" things. I think tonight is the first night in a week she didn't wear her "Tinkerbells" pj's despite having about 10 others to choose from. She let me paint her nails and toenails yesterday. And even prefers to pick out her bath towel on her own, which no coincidence, is PINK!We've done lots of hiking lately (that term is used loosely when we have Kylie along) and just trying to enjoy every last bit of fresh air before it takes several layers to do so!
Today we went to a Fall Festival that was absolutely perfect for smaller kids and Kylie ended up having quite a bit of fun. Although she insisted we did NOT need to bring a pumpkin home with us which we found strange. Oh well. And on the cooler days, what warms the house up better than a batch of cookies? Kylie is my chief taste tester:-)
