Another First!

Friday rolled around and it was apparent Kylie and I had spent way too much time home all week. She woke up fussy and it only progressed. By 10:30 I was desperate for some distraction and figured we'd hit up the lake for the first time this year. It was a bit cool, but not that uncomfortable and she loved it. She self entertained for longer than I cared to sit there.

That went so well I decided to treat her to a meal out....her first happy meal! It was by default as Wendy's and BK had buses full of school kids, but good old McD's didn't. She thought the whole thing was pretty cool. And by the time we got home, I couldn't praise her enough for what a good girl she was the whole time we were out. It was very refreshing and obviously what we both needed!

And finally, oh FINALLY, the weather was worth writing home about. This spring hasn't been as bad for me as it's been just as cool in the cities and back home. I don't know, maybe it's the whole misery loves company thing. But for now, I'll try to take in the nice weather and just enjoy it!
