It's Been a While!

I found out at least a few people are hoping for an update. We sent our camera in for a repair so between that and simply not taking the time to blog, I'm behind. Here's what's happening with us:

Keeping clothes on Kylie continues to be a battle. The shirts need to be rather tight fitting so she can't get them off, anything with a zipper needs a safety pin, and socks are simply a hopeless battle. I generally go with the natural consequences...she's going to get cold. Jon tends to run around in a futile attempt to get her re-dressed.- Kylie and I continue to attend ECFE (Early Childhood Family Education) on Wednesday afternoons. She's slowly learning to socialize a bit more, but can usually be found escaping the room, playing in the bathroom, or taking our her pigtails and eating the rubber bands. That tends to psych the teachers out a bit. If they only knew...
- For inquiring minds, I have held my vow of not watching the Vikes this year due to the ridiculous decision to sign Old Fart, I mean Farve. I'm a firm believer that the end doesn't justify the means! I find other things to do while Jon and Kylie root for purple and gold (she thinks everytime we turn the TV on it's for football).
- Kylie's favorite toys continue to be non-toys. Like Jon's gym bag. What better than putting a dirty pair of shorts or socks in your baby stroller and taking them for a ride? All the zippers on his bag are a real bonus!- Great sadness this morning when I gave her a bath in the big tub. Until now, I've gotten away with using the infant/toddler tub. But she was starting to look like Elf in there so I figured for her comfort, I'd move her up. It was just SO much easier!
