Kylie is battling something again as her fever has been up around 103-104 the last couple of days. It's bad to say this, but it's been kind of nice. She fell asleep in my arms yesterday and I just sat there and held her, wishing she'd do that once in a while. She's also a much more agreeable and laid back child when she's ill. Not whiny or too needy, just....nice. But I'm sure she'll snap out of it soon and we'll be back to normal!
When she's not sick, we have a battle of the wills quite frequently and she has become well acquainted with her designated time out corner (shown below). She stays put very well even if we have to improvise at another house. She knows the drill and says "sorry" and gives a kiss/hug before we even talk to her about what she did (a learned behavior, obviously, she has no idea what she's talking about).

We had Matea over last week and I took the girls out to play in the first snowfall. It was absolutely freezing although I wimped out quicker than they did. You can tell how cold it was by looking at the squinting eyes!

We went to get our tree last weekend which was quite the excursion. I wanted a really tall tree this year since we have high ceilings and would actually have family here for Christmas instead of being gone. Apparently many people had tagged their trees early so it took some hunting and a very patient toddler, but we found it!

Finally, my sister asked if Kylie plays with the fire truck she got from them last Christmas. The answer is yes and you can see in the video she just likes pushing the button...over and over and over again!
