We had a relaxing and fun weekend, just the three of us. Saturday morning we called the Bailey's and were on our way to picking fresh strawberries. Kylie did pretty well, getting a little fussy just toward the end. It must have wore her out since she fell asleep in the car on the way home which she rarely does! But not before being silly with her lamb. While she napped, we cleaned/froze berries (almost 3 gallons worth), made a strawberry/rhubarb crisp, and soaked up some wonderful sun.Last night we went out to Lake Nebegamon to hang out with friends. The kids went to bed and we hung out, played Wii, and Jon and I tried our turn at Guitar Hero. Like we needed reinforcement that we're very musically declined. And Kylie had a first...we woke her up to drive home (45 minute drive) and she went right back to sleep at home with no fussing, crying, or even talking. She must be figuring it out.And today was met with voting in a new Senior Pastor at church and a nice hike up through Chester to play in the creek and the playground. Unfortunately, Kylie has some weird thing going on again. Her eyes are puffy, red, runny, and goopy (not to mention raw underneath from me trying to keep them clean). She has absolutely no other symptoms so we're stumped. We tried allergy medicine which didn't help and it doesn't seem to be transpiring into a cold. The kid certainly leaves us guessing. I should be at the grocery store now, but I decided not to ruin a perfectly good weekend; I'll go tomorrow:-)
