Kylie has been getting into more trouble lately, especially when she's tired. She almost gets a bit manic and just starts being naughty- you can see the little glimmer in her eyes when she looks at Jon or I and then intentionally misbehaves. Sometimes it's really hard not to laugh, other times it's just downright annoying. These are pictures of her finding two unused rolls of toilet paper. I had run out to the garage to get the stroller and when I came back in, this is what I found. It wasn't really too bad...she had torn a little bit of it into pieces instead of unrolling the entire batch. I couldn't resist grabbing the camera, probably just enforcing her actions:-) I didn't want to post these because they show just how rough our hardwood floors are looking, but oh well, life goes on. She's also been extremely sleepy lately....as in I've woken her up the last two mornings, yesterday at 9:20 and today at 9 followed by an almost 3 hour nap. My guess would be she's going through a growth spurt. Or all that walking is making her exhausted! This picture is what I found when I went to get her yesterday- she was out cold and didn't look all that comfortable to me. I'll try to get a good video of her walking. She certainly isn't always walking a straight line, but it's a riot to watch her improve literally each time she wakes up. In a few days, crawling will be a think of the past...bittersweet.
are we raising the same girl??? we too are into everything and really whiny about not getting her way! and about the sleeping, ashlynn sleeps soundly all night and sometimes takes a cat nap soon after she wakes up, but definitely a LONG afternoon nap that i sometimes have to wake her from - and that picture of kylie sleeping cracks me up b/c it looks just like ashlynn! how do they sleep like that??? growing little girls, i guess - but aren't they fun?!!
Welcome to the toddler years!! :) Looks like Kylie & Matea have been "talking"...about how to destroy the bathroom, specifically the TP.
As frustrating as it can be, try to enjoy those times...they grow up SOOOO fast!!! I can't believe my baby girl is gonna be FIVE already in a couple weeks. Where has the time gone???
