Lil Pumpkin

Kylie and Jon had their first weekend alone together while I went on a girls weekend. Four of us girls, leaving a total of 9 children behind, went to a cabin and did absolutely nothing. It was great! None of the husbands even called while we were there. Kylie was very happy to see me last night, but did fine w/o me all weekend, too. I did much better than I thought I would being away from her for the first time...Jon better look out since I enjoyed it:-)

Kylie continues to be sooooo close to crawling. She even moved her knees more last night so all she has to figure out is how to move those hands and she'll be off. I'm actually surprised it's taking so long since she's been looking close for quite a while now. Oh well, in her timing.

Food is going much better for her and she seems to enjoy a lot of it. Her latest is ripping the velcro apart and taking the bib off and also trying to grab at the food we're feeding her. Both are discouraged and make a big mess- she thinks the word "NO" is kind of funny. But we figure table manners need to start now...it will just take time and patience!
